Richard is a qualified chef and has worked in professional kitchens for 20 years. All of our breakfasts are cooked to order and there is a wide variety to choose from. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am, and a takeaway menu is available for those who need to leave early in the morning or would like a lie in
ABOUT OUR BREAKFASTS
All our breakfasts are served with a selection of self service toast and cereals. There is also a selection of fruit juices and unlimited tea and Italian style coffees.
We also offer a takeaway menu, as an alternative to the a la carte menu for guests in a hurry or with an early start.
Our allergy information is available both at the hotel and as an electronic version which can be emailed to you, if you prefer.
At the Pendennis, we work very hard to maintain our ethos of environmental sustainability with limited sachets and compostable bin liners in the rooms. Where possible, we source local, free-range produce to reduce food miles and sustain local producers (and obviously secure the best ingredients).
Traditional English
Fried egg, 2 rashers of Cornish bacon, outdoor bred pork sausage, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and hash brown.
Scrambled Egg
Three scrambled eggs on toast with a choice of smoked salmon, buttery mushrooms or Cornish bacon.
Buttered kippers
Buttered kippers served on toasted malted bloomer & topped with a poached egg.
Avocado, Bacon and Egg
Toasted English muffin, crushed avocado, grilled Cornish bacon, 2 poached eggs and home-made bagel seasoning.
Avocado and smoked salmon
Toasted English muffin, crushed avocado, smoked salmon, chilli flakes, black pepper and two poached eggs.

American breakfast
Stack of home-made fluffy American style pancakes, maple syrup and crispy pan fried bacon.
Vegetarian breakfast

Greek yogurt with Honey and Granola
Creamy greek yogurt, layered with honey and topped with granola and served with a home-made berry compote.
American breakfast
Stack of home-made fluffy American style pancakes, maple syrup and home-made berry compote and greek yogurt.
